Promptbook tracks your Claude Code sessions automatically and turns them into clean, shareable proof.
What Promptbook sees
Prompt count, token usage, session duration
How many files were touched and what kinds they were
AI model used and primary language
A short title and summary (see below)
Your code or file contents
Your prompts or conversations
API keys, credentials, or secrets
How titles and summaries work
When a session ends, Claude generates a short title and summary locally on your machine using file names and its own activity descriptions — never your code or prompts. This uses your existing Claude authentication and runs entirely on your device. Promptbook only receives the final title and summary text.
What gets installed
A config file at ~/.promptbook/config.json
Lightweight hooks added to ~/.claude/settings.json — these log stats like prompt count and build time when a session ends
